Sweet, sweet, Sa-weeeeet! Elena + Jon have been oh so fun to work with and they had a blast-o wedding that was one for the books. We had a blast with these two cats a few weeks ago for a nice engagement session. We had pretty nice weather, albeit rather frigid, but that didn't seem to phase these guys at all (maybe it's their intense volleyball grit?) We are definitely looking forward for their shooting their sweet wedding up at the Capitol here in a bit. Thanks again and enjoy some teasers...

It's so fun for me to be around kids and I was trying to pinpoint exactly why that is for me. Is it because they are so accepting? They don't really worry about what my day job is as long as I am willing to chase them around like a lion - is that it? Or is it because they love to just be silly, for silly's sake. I also love how they talk about their dreams and aspirations. It's like they have already become that NBA star that they have always dreamed of. In their mind, it's already a reality. On top of that, I love how their dreams are usually grandiose: movie star, astronaut, superhero. They realize that those dreams are truly within their grasp.
So maybe it's just the hope that they seem to radiate. That, and their love of sweets!
